This site has been created with the aim of establish regional networks between operators involved in the cage aquaculture sector in the different world regions. This to facilitate the exchange of information, knowledge and services between experts, entrepreneurs, suppliers.

Cage culture activity is worldwide practiced with different levels of technology, exploiting different environments and rearing a large amount of aquatic species. This is the base of a "regionalization" of the network, always maintaining the possibility of exchanges between them. There should be at least the following areas: North America, South America, North Europe, Mediterranean and Black Sea region, Sub-Saharan Africa (including Red Sea and Persian Gulf), Asia, Australia
the coordinators
We are currently looking for coordinators interested on coordinating the regional networks, collecting information, providing news and documents about cage aquaculture in their regions Each coordinator will have the autonomy of organizing, editing and publishing in the regional sub domains of cageculture.net. if you think that you could be in the position to be involved in this project please email us at fra.car@tiscali.it
